David Puscher

I am excited to join Sebastian Charter Junior High School as the 8th Grade U.S. History teacher. As a Sebastian native and graduate of Vero Beach High School, it is a privilege to serve students in the community that I proudly call home. After graduating high school, I served in the United States Air Force before beginning a career of more than 30 years in public service. I hold a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and spent the past five years teaching at Vero Beach High School. I am passionate about helping students discover that history is more than names and dates—it is the story of our nation and the people who shaped it. My goal is to create an engaging classroom where students think critically, explore the past, and develop an appreciation for American history and citizenship. Outside the classroom, I enjoy camping, fishing, traveling, and photography. I especially enjoy visiting historic sites and battlefields, which help bring history to life for my students. I look forward to partnering with students and families for a successful and exciting school year.
