Welcome Students!
I am looking forward to meeting all the new 6th graders, returning 7th and 8th graders and all new students to Sebastian Charter Junior High for the 2010-2011 school year!
6th graders-have you finished your summer reading yet?

So, how has your summer been so far...
I have had a very busy and fun summer. I visited Myrtle Beach for the first time. It was my parents 50th wedding anniversary and my entire extended family met for a week of fun and sun.
I also attended a workshop in Orlando with Lifetouch for our school yearbook. If you didn't know, I am the advisor for Yearbook and we will have an awesome yearbook again this year. I learned about many great tips and ideas we will use. Sign up to be a member and become a part of preserving the history of your school.
I also spent a few days in St. Augustine, the oldest city in the US. I took a spooky Ghost Walk Tour and was touched by the spirit of Sally. Ask me about this when you see me. I have the heart to show you. TEN MERITS IF YOU ASK ME BEFORE CLASS!
I am getting ready to take a long drive to New York tomorrow. My daughter attends college in Ithaca, NY and I am moving her into her new campus apartment (she is a junior this year). She is studying pre-med/exercise science. My son attends IRSC and is planning on transferring to Florida Tech. He plays ice-hockey in Rockledge every Friday night. My nephew lives with us and he is a junior at the Sebastian River High school. He plays guitar and loves music.
Mr. McIntosh is my husband of 25 years and he is a Math and PE teacher at SCJH.
I have two dogs and two cats. You will be sure to hear all about them this year.
So, I will see you all on August 23, 2010 for a fun-filled learning experience. Don't forget to set your alarm!!!
